How to amend a live site induction - Primary User
- Click update induction button on right hand side
- Edit steps accordingly if new or additional information is required for each induction
- Add new steps where required
- Delete steps accordingly if not required or being replaced
- Edit multiple choice questions (only if included in paid subscription) – click edit step button under multiple choice questions

- Contracting Companies section
- In this section you can enter the names of the contracting companies or agencies of your contractors. This will show on the information page at the start of the induction. The contractor can click on the drop down box and all the companies you have entered will show in this list. There is also an option to enter their own text
- After you had added the companies, click save
- Edit Personal Protective Equipment – click edit step button under Personal Protective Equipment
- You can set the standard PPE requirement on the https://admin.getonsitefast.com page
- Additional PPE is also optional. Choose additional items of PPE to be either compulsory, recommended, supplied or not needed, if the standard PPE differs from site to site

Contractor uploads
- This enables the contractor to upload a file/document or image (JPEG, PNG or PDF) during the induction, for example CSCS cards.
- Click edit step and choose from the options:
- Here you can add site specific document upload instructions to be seen by the contractor when completing the induction
- If the requirements on your sites change and you need to amend the text, there is an option to copy the amended text to all other inductions
- You have the option to select can skip uploading if you would like the upload to be optional and the user can choose to upload or not
- Tick the box must check ‘authorised by principal contractor' to skip if you would like the Contractor to opt out of uploading. For example, if you have a lot of head office staff on site who do not need to upload CSCS cards
- You can also choose which documents to make mandatory to upload by using the named upload option
- You can also choose to make a named document optional to upload or mandatory by ticking the box
- Uploads marked with a red asterisk have been made mandatory
- You can have up to 20 documents uploaded in this section
- Once completed click create named upload button and when you have finished, click the back to induction button

Minor or major change
- When you have finished populating the induction:
- Check the tick box (when required) if existing contractors are allowed continued access to the site without being required to retake the updated induction (leave unticked if contractors are required to retake the induction even after work has started)
- Click publish induction
- For major publishes a site access code will then be created for the site and you will be taken back to the sites page
- For minor publishes the site access will remain the same
- Minor Changes – If you make amendments to your induction, you can choose if you require all contractors to be sent an alert to retake the induction. If you don’t require your contractors to see these changes then tick the box shown below
- Major changes – if you have made amendments to the induction and require your contractors to retake the induction to review these changes, then ensure the below box is unticked
- Click publish induction
- When you click publish induction (as major change) all contractors will be sent a request to retake the induction, when major changes have been left unticked.
- The new induction will now have a new code which contractors will need to present to the site manager when they arrive on site.
