  • To edit this section, start at the Sites page on the platform:

  • Click on the site you wish to edit

  • In the induction, scroll down to the Inductees, Contracting companies section and click Edit Step

  • In this section you can enter the names of the contracting companies or agencies of your contractors. This will show on the Contractor’s personal information page at the start of the induction.
  • The contractor can click on the drop-down box and all of the companies you have entered will show in this list. There is also an option to enter their own text

  • After you had added the companies, click save

Once you have updated this section, you will need to republish the induction as a Minor Change:

Minor or major change

    • When you have finished populating the induction:
    • Check the tick box (when required) if existing contractors are allowed continued access to the site without being required to retake the updated induction (leave unticked if contractors are required to retake the induction even after work has started)
    • Click publish induction
    • For major publishes a site access code will then be created for the site and you will be taken back to the sites page
    • For minor publishes the site access will remain the same

Minor Changes – If you make amendments to your induction, you can choose if you require all contractors to be sent an alert to retake the induction. If you don’t require your contractors to see these changes then tick the box shown below
