How to edit multiple choice questions
Multiple choice questions
Check operatives have understood their induction by adding multiple-choice questions. If an operative answers incorrectly they are diverted back to the beginning of the induction. The number of attempts are highlighted for the site manager. The operative has to answer a minimum of three questions to proceed.
- Edit Multiple Choice Questions (only if included in paid subscription) – click edit step button under multiple choice questions
- Please see upgrade features for more information on this function
- Choose number of questions to be answered - here you can select the number of questions you require to be answered correctly. If you have 10 questions and you only require 8 to be answered correctly (80% pass rate), then the platform will randomly select and show 8 out of the 10 questions. These change each time an induction is retaken
- All questions must be answered correctly before the contractor can move on. If the contractor answers any question incorrectly, they will be taken back to the start of the induction to retake it
- To create a new question, enter the details below: Add the question, the correct answer and two incorrect answers. You can also choose which answer text box you would like to be the correct answer by changing the tick box at the end of the answer text box
- To edit a question, click the edit button
- Here you can amend the text, change it completely and change the position or the tick box for the correct answer.
- You can also delete answers or re-add answers.
- You can have up to 5 answers to choose from for each question
- When you have added up to 12 questions, click the return to induction button
